Regrow hair with traditional Chinese medicineHere at TCM Hair Loss Treatment, we sell a combination of three products for a complete hair loss treatment plan. Two of the products are Traditional Chinese Medicine prescriptions taken internally in tablet form: Fu Fang Shou Wu Pian and Xiao Yao Pian. We also recommend our 100% All-Natural Shampoo, with four essential oils that are proven to assist in hair growth. Please click on any one of the three products in the page menu to learn more. Treatment is the same for men and women alike over the ages of 16.

Fu Fang Shou Wu Pian is a common prescription given by many practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for treating alopecia areata. It deals directly, to bring back balance in various dis-harmonies that cause hair loss and hair thinning. Xiao Yao Pian is also a well known formula. It is widely used for circulation problems, and those coping with stress in everyday normal life. We all know the unfortunate side effects of stress in relation to our health. Stress and/or depression can also be one of many causes of hair loss and thinning. The combination of the two prescriptions offer successful treatment for reversing your hair loss and hair thinning. We also know from the many years of clinical use, Fu Fang Shou Wu Pian and Xiao Yao Pian can be taken together safely. The two prescriptions enhance each other to treat the many patterns that cause hair loss and thinning. (Please click on the product name, in the page menu to the left, to learn more information about the prescriptions offered.)

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) prescriptions act to adjust the normal physiological condition of the body. This is not something easily achievable in a few days. So, depending on the indications, the prescriptions must often be taken for an extended period of time before their full benefit is experienced. It is advised that you use the full recommended dosage for at least three months before reducing to a maintenance dose. Normal length of total treatment time is usually 9-12 months, but many people choose to stay on the prescriptions longer because of the many benefits in addition to hair growth. Some of these extra benefits include strengthened bones and muscles, lowered cholesterol levels, regulated bowel movement, stress reduction, regulated menstruation (for women only, of course), reduced irritability, reduced depression, and reduced tension to name a few. Research has been conducted for long-term use with no known side effects. Only you can decide when to stop treatment. Some people stop after they have the results they want, others have taken the prescriptions for years with maybe one month breaks every 9 or 12 months. It's advisable to experiment with what works best for you, just do not exceed the maximum recommended dosage. You can always contact Pastor Rea for recommendations.

Hair loss and thinning hair can result from many causes including stress, poor nutrition, hormonal imbalance, certain prescription drugs, thyroid disease, cancer (and more specifically cancer treatment), and genetics. All of these hair loss conditions can occur in both men and women. Hair loss based in genetics can also be addressed with Chinese medicine. Genetic pattern baldness is often attributed to the chemical DHT (5-alpha Di-HydroTestosterone). It has been found that increasing levels of DHT in the hair follicles cause a reaction that reduces blood flow to the follicle and impairs the growth cycle of hair. This results in follicle shrinkage, and eventually the follicle will die and stop producing hair. Areas with short, fuzzy, fine hairs still have live follicles that respond well to Chinese formulas. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is holistic in its approach for treating the many causes of hair loss and thinning. Please visit our Resources & Guests page for more information.

(Please Note: In both modern Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the most important physiological processes take place in the organs. The Chinese meaning and understanding of the organs is quite different than our Western understanding. This can cause tremendous problems when discussing medical theory and application to someone with limited knowledge in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). What makes it confusing is the fact that while there is some overlapping of medical understanding between Chinese and Western medicine, Chinese medical theory is quite different than our usual Western notion. So in learning about the Chinese concept of organs, we have to somehow put aside our Western notions about them. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) organs are not only physical objects in the body, but more importantly, organs have very distinct functions in how the body works. You will find that the more you study about Chinese medicine, the more concrete and simple it will seem. The Chinese are more interested in the functional questions of the body, not so much interested in fixing these processes to particular places in the body. Organs are the way in which all the body processes take place. We encourage you to learn more by visiting our Resources & Guests page.)
